This graduate certificate program in Information Management for Health Care is intended for information technology graduates who have successfully completed an advanced diploma or degree in information technology and who intend to further their learning in the field of health informatics. The program incorporates knowledge of clinical, administrative and financial processes in health care with applications of information technology in health care.

This Applied Health Informatics Graduate Certificate Program offers three semesters of full-time study with a co-op work term at the end of the program. The program is designed to prepare graduates with a previous degree or with a health sciences diploma/advanced diploma to work in the field of health informatics. The program will provide an in-depth knowledge of health informatics, an understanding of information technology, and development of excellent communication, decision making and problem solving skills.
