Mr Sherman Quan, one of the COACH 2006 Award winners, will give a presentation about his work as Health Informatician formerly with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and currently with the University Health Network (UHN).

Mr. Quan was awarded "Emerging Leader in Health Informatics" Award in November 2006 for his work at the Department of Medicine, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. This award recognizes individuals who are in the first five years of their career, who have clearly demonstrated leadership and achieved early success in the field. It was emphasized that Mr. Quan's work was crucial for "moving the hospital's e-Health agenda forward, creating a culture where physicians and other multidisciplinary staff are embracing technology as an approach for improving patient care." The award was presented by by Linda Miller, President-Elect of COACH, and Rhonda Chou, Principal of the Courtyard Group.
