There is an interesting story, a podcast and an excerpt from a new book by a doctor at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Jerome Groopman. Also his personal blog has some short reviews of this new book. Though one has to read between the lines to find the relevance to medical informatics, the book is nonetheless interesting as it in a way underlines the limitations of human decision making and implicitly suggests the need for decision support in healthcare.
